Mr. Ronald Wuijster will leave APG effective 1 March 2026, after serving the company for almost twenty years, and upon completing his second term as member of APG’s Executive Board and CEO of APG Asset Management.

As of 1 March, under the condition of regulatory approval, Ronald’s duties at APG Asset Management will be taken over temporarily by Ms. Alineke van den Berge-Blindenbach, member of the Executive Committee of APG Group and Chief Operating Officer of APG Asset Management. The procedure to fill the vacancy permanently has been initiated.

“I am proud of what we have achieved together,” says Ronald Wuijster (1966). “It has been a privilege to work alongside so many talented colleagues and to contribute to APG’s purpose: building a good pension together in a livable world. With our new strategy now in place, I am confident that APG Asset Management is well positioned for the years ahead. This is a logical moment to hand over the baton for the execution of that strategy.”

Annette Mosman, CEO of APG Group: “I am deeply grateful to Ronald for his contribution to the development of APG Asset Management and APG Group. Ronald is a professional and highly committed colleague with whom I have collaborated very effectively, even in turbulent times. Over the past years, we have shaped APG’s strategy together, which will help us build an organization that makes an impact well beyond 2030.”

Peter Bommel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board adds: “Ronald’s contribution to APG and the pension sector cannot be overstated. Under his leadership, APG Asset Management has strengthened its position as a global asset manager. Ronald has been instrumental in shaping APG Asset Management into the leading pension investor it is today. We are deeply grateful for his commitment over the past two decades and wish him all the best for the future.”

Knut Kjaer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of APG Asset Management: “Over his two terms as CEO of APG Asset Management, including periods of significant challenge in the global capital markets, Ronald has led the company with steadiness and exceptional competence. Under his leadership APG Asset Management has built a distinct competence in private markets for sustainable pension investing. We are truly thankful for his leadership. With Alineke’s temporary appointment, we ensure continuity. We are pleased that she is willing to take on this role.”
