In 2021, APG co-invested alongside a partner private equity firm in a manufacturer of carbon-based technologies for clean energy applications. The company’s products are used in hydrogen fuel cells that power electric vehicles and for renewable hydrogen fuel production. This investment is evidence of our commitment to reducing carbon emissions through responsible investing and contributes to SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. 

In 2022, APG co-invested alongside a partner private equity firm in a leading provider of K-12 assessment and supplemental content to public schools in the United States. The company’s products enhance learning by identifying a student’s educational progress and then providing supplementary learning materials to help students either catch-up or continue to succeed. This investment highlight’s APG’s ambition of ensuring that all young people can achieve the goal of both literacy and numeracy and contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education.

In 2021, AGP co-invested alongside a partner private equity firm in a Pan-European developer of specialty generic drugs, focused primarily on central nervous system issues, which include conditions such as depression, anxiety, epilepsy, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. The company’s products are life-saving medications available to patients at a fraction of the cost of brand-name prescription drugs. This investment underscores our ambition to help ensure access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all and contributes to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.
